So the MSAR has good stats on in state acceptance rates, but where can I find such info for DO schools?
As a reapplicant, I applied to not many MD schools last year and made the mistake of selecting schools with like 80-90%+ in state acceptance rates. I don't want to make that mistake again since I'm applying DO as well this year.
Does anyone have tips on schools that are friendly to California residents?
Here is a list I made based on personal factors/stats:
AT Still Arizona
LECOM
Western
PCOM
WV SOM
Touro NV
U of Pikeville - Kentucky
Edward Via (VCOM-VC)
Edward Via (VCOM-CC)
William Carey COM
U of New England COM
Pacific Northwest COM
I would appreciate any insight on whether I should remove any of these schools, as well as any suggestions of additional schools. This isn't a chances thread, I'm just looking for schools that are friendly/unfriendly to CA residents.
My wallet and I appreciate the help! Thanks.
Edit: Western has an OR campus. Would applying to both be useless since they would see that I already have a campus in CA I could have applied to?
