I interviewed at couple schools during mid and late November. I haven't heard anything from them yet. Should I call them right now, or patiently wait until beginning January?

As hard as it is to do, I would wait until Jan... They are really fussy about giving info about your status over the phone.

in my experience schools don't mind if you call and ask for your status, and if you are told 'in review', ask when the next batch is usually sent out or if they send them out continuously.

While everyone on here has an opinion on this topic to be sure, here is my advice:

You paid the money for this application cycle, you took the time to interview there, you shouldn't feel bad about calling (as long as you aren't harrassing them). But keep in mind some schools may have policies not to disclose over the phone. If you haven't called, then call, be polite and ask: I was just calling to ask my application for the 2005 cylce, can you tell me where my application is standing at present. Or something like that. YOU don't have to use my words.

But it is really agonizing to sit around and worry about it and do nothing. (Trust me, I know this too.)

how are u? i tried to find u the other day, but i have no idea where u were. u will be fine. i m sure u did great on those interview and will get a certified letter in less than a week. just relax and be patience =)

btw, me and rcmonkypie just took the histo final. we think we pass. 1 down 6 more to go.
