Hello all,
I took a 3 credit biochemistry class and now don't know if it will meet school requirements. This particular class is a 200 level biochem class labeled "Basic Biochemistry." Organic Chem 1 is the only prerequisite for it. There's a higher level biochem at my school that requires Organic Chem 1 and 2 before taking; however, this class can't be taken for credit if the 200 one is already taken. Each of these classes qualify as the prereq for Biochem II. This makes me think they're basically the same class? Will this 200-level biochem most likely meet the biochem requirement at most schools?
