Hey fellow SDNers,
I have read a lot of info on the boards swaying both ways concerning whether medical schools find out if you took the MCAT and voided it on test day. I called the MCAT program office today and they said that it will never show up on your AMCAS, medical schools will not find out, but that the MCAT program office will mark it down that you took it so if you try to take it more than 3 times, they make you submit proof that you are indeed applying to medical school and not someone who takes it every administration to find out questions to report to test prep companies such as Kaplan, Princeton Review, etc. So if you void, only you will know and the MCAT program office, medical schools will never find out and it will not be recorded on your AMCAS application. Hopefully, this will help anyone who is considering voiding on Saturday, like me, and clear up any confusion regarding voiding. Good luck everyone and hopefully we won't need to void! 🙂 Thanks everyone for being so supportive through this process with me as well. :luck:

With regards as to when you can void:
You can void your test throughout the day. At the end of the Biological Sciences, you will be given your final opportunity to void, some may leave at the lunch break and never return, and their exam will be voided, but if you void your test, you may not opt to have it scored later. Essentially, the decision that is made on test day is held and cannot be changed.
