I'm one of those people who have heard nothing from several schools post-secondary. I've read on here that many people have "found out" they have interviews with schools after contacting them. Maybe it's just a crazy idea, but does anyone think that some schools narrow down the competitive applicant pool (people who have already been favorably reviewed by the ADCOMS) by granting interviews to those that call or contact the school? It just seems funny to me that people wouldn't have heard otherwise (or would they?) unless they called the school...

In any case, I guess it's not a bad idea to make some calls, eh?

🙂

i think it is luck when someone calls and finds out they have an interview. however, very few schools will tell you over the phone.

albany does, so if you applied, i say call them.

good luck

but is the calling to just find out what is going on, or to see if they have all your documents?
i feel like if they have told you your app is complete, it is pointless to call unless its been like 3 months. and i would think you should not call at least until after they have cashed your check, they can take weeks to just open mail.

definitely wait til they cash the check. i usually call after waiting 4-6 weeks or so.
all i did was ask what was the status of my application.
most schools are really friendly. and it's always worth a shot.
