Has anyone ever called an admissions office because you couldn't wait for the acceptance email/mail/phonecall?
I'm getting antzy and I'm wondering if anyone has used this tactic before to find out their status...
Thx

If you got a guideline as to when you would hear, but it's now significantly past that guideline, then I think it's OK to call and check.

Many med schools will have a specific hotline to call for status updates, which I am sure you can use as many time as you want. As long as you don't call more than once a week (don't want to annoy them), it will not negatively impact you in any way. It actually shows you are eager and still interested the school.

I would wait until they contact you, unless it's been way too long, like over a month or something.

I interviewed for the MSTP at Northwestern on October 15th...and no news! lol I will call them tomorrow.
