Surely there must be some administrators on this website who can keep us in the loop with what decisions are being made at the highest level, what's going to happen to our away rotations, Step 2 CS/CK, away rotations, interview, ERAS. What's the talk that's going on right now and what are some speculations if you haven't heard of anything?

I'm not one of those administrators, but the last thing you want are rumors rolling around of plans that are not thoroughly considered with all the affected departments and parties. It's not helpful to speculate. I know that's not what you'd want to hear, but that's going to be less confusing for everyone in the long run.

The AAMC, LCME, NBME have pages with updates. You can look at those for some of the relevant updates. Until it’s posted there (or on a related organizations site) I don’t think it’s really “set”, and the behind the scenes workings are probably out of earshot of many academic deans and may not become policy anyways. It seems like there’s kinda a timid response nationally (due to uncertainty about how things will unfold), making schools sit on their hands waiting for info from the national organizations. (Well, it was that way until they finally issued statesmen’s, etc).
