hi there henna i know wht i am asking might be a dumb and stupid question bt this forum is to ask questions so i am doing tht. i am giving my NDBE in dec. bt like to know whether i can apply to the dental schools prior to getting my results a matter of fact can i do it now before i appear for my xams.if somebody has something to say abt this topic only please post a thread if something nasty then kindly dont

i guess u can send ur applicationbut it will not be processed if it is not complete i mean it will not be processed without ur part I score.

It also depends on their deadline, if their deadline is before the exams or before you get the results then there is no point in applying to those schools.
In a way its nice to have all the applications and other documents ready to go even before you get the results.
And again this forum is for everyone and anyone. We just like to leave the trolls out .

Of course you can post and ask any question you might like. Whatever happened to freedom of speech on the internet? Surely, this forum can not be under the control of anyone or any organisation! We all ask something "dumb and stupid" from time to time... how about "dumberer and stupider" questions that some people repeatedly ask on this forum? But they are still okay I presume!?

If seeing similar queries being posted on this forum is worse than having to sit through movies like "Gigli", then quickly click on the 'Back' button on your browser and find something else to read... if that is too much then stop wasting your time surfing the net! We should all be responsible in minding what we "read" on the internet... there's far too much noise. But remember, someone's rubbish info could be someone else's gems! I just made that phrase up, really! And if you have read all the way down to this sentence, that means you must have been really bored surfing the internet... just like me! Put on some shoes and go for a run! Eat healthier, study wiser, play harder! Have a fab day people!

yeah fulldenture....get ur applis together if u have the time....like if u dont have recos, get them, get your essays together, see what they need and get all the documents etc. but i dont think any school will process the appli until the official scores are with them. do check with the schools though. they might give u some ideas we dint! but i think the most they can do is say that a photocopy of the score report is okay till the official one reaches them .......and u dont have that option since u havent given the exam yet!!! BU has a late deadline but rolling admissions- maybe u can aim for that.

If you're TAKING the test in December, you should estimate to receive scores sometime in mid-February. Sadly that doesn't live much time to apply to schools. You should check with schools deadlines and see the ones that'll fit you best.

I know NYU and BU have their deadlines in March, BUT they work under rolling addmissions, so that's not much hope..... Nova has its deadline in February, you should check on that too.

It sucks, doesn't it?. Like if they didn't know how to read and perform a search. Sometimes the same question and answer is just posted a thread below, and it's STILL gets posted AGAIN!!.

I know of someone who took the part I in Dec 2002 and applied to BU in mid-Feb 2003. They got on the BU wait list and got in. They had the application ready and waited for the part I scores (90+) and sent the whole package out the day they received the scores.

Shows that it can be done. Good luck!!
