Hello,
So I had two "neuro" classes that were very psych heavy and are even cross-listed under psych. However, they are also listed under neuro and that's how they appear on my transcript. One is called "Human Neuropsychology" and the other is called "Behavioral and Cognitive Neurosci". I classified them as psych. Will they get re-classified as bio? That would kind of suck because it will bring my sGPA below a 3.6

List them as whatever is best for your sGPA (psych I assume). They may be reclassified by the verifier if they believe the course title fits better under bio, but at that point you really can't do much.

Thanks for the reply. I'm guessing I can't just list the psych course number instead of the neuro one, because it'll be inconsistent with my transcript... Would it be weird if I listed the psych course number along with the neuro course number either in the "course number" text box or "course title" text box? Sort of a rhetorical question... If I were a psych major both classes would be listed under their psych numbers and I'd have no problem.

No. Don't list the psych course number cause it'll likely cause a delay in your verification.

Just submit as psychology if you believe if it was psych focused enough. If the verifier changes, so be it. Likely they won't but there is a chance they may.

Definitely don't change up what's on your transcript. If your courses get reclassified in a way you don't like you can always appeal. It's super easy, you fill out a form with a link to where the course description is and with a statement about what you think it ought to be classified as. In mid-July, my request had a 1 day turn around.

Wow!! That's great to hear! I talked to two different AMCAS people who said that they wouldn't reclassify...and I told them the exact situation. And obviously worst case scenario isn't even that bad.

I listed a handful of PSYC courses as biology and math last year. Tremendously boosted my sGPA. To be fair, they were biopsych and stat psych classes.

There's really nothing to lose by classifying your courses to maximize your sGPA. Worst case, AMCAS reclassifies your classes as non-BCPM.

They're generally pretty good about taking your word for it with regard to a class being an SCPM class or not. I had a statistics course that was listed with the psychology department, and I listed it as a mathematics-type course (SCPM, obviously), and there were no questions asked.
