I am applying for pharmacy college and am having trouble getting a transcript from the college I was previously attending. If I get 120 credits from a new college without transfering the credits I earned from the previous college is there any way my pharmacy college will know that I was attending the college , and thereby require a transcript from the college or can I let it slide without them realizing.

Note there is no indication on my current transcript of me attending a previous college.

Anyone know what to do???

oh lordy, before the hounds come out....

1) are YOU having trouble getting the transcript or does the university have a problem sending it to you?

You know what to do...certified mail return receipt a request to the university or show up in person to request a transcript. I refuse to believe you have a problem getting a transcript unless your school is somewhere in Somalia or Iraq.

You can fool pharmcas but it's entirely possible whatever pharmacy school you get into can figure out this ruse and kick you out. Best case scenario...they kick you out before school starts; worst case scenario for you, they kick you out after you've already paid tuition for academic dishonesty. Goodluck with that one.

I saw you posted this on another thread too.

I'm not sure how you are having trouble getting a transcript from another school.... how is your GPA at that school?

It is not smart to try to "fool PharmCAS" because if you get accepted and then the school finds out, the joke's gonna be on you.

Well put. Yeah, you would get away with it for a while. You might get away with it forever. But you never know when it will catch up to you, and if you get kicked out after P3 you're out a LOT of money and are probably not ever going to get into another school again, no matter what you do. Admissions gave the right advice here: be honest, disclose those grades, and if the transcripts don't ever show up be able to prove that it's not your issue.

everyone here has said it pretty well. if you try to hide something in the beginning, it will surely come back and bite oyu in the butt later. be upfront about everything and you should be okay.

fool pharmcas.......................bwahahhaha

this thread doesn't encourage a "real" answer.

sigh, ok, the best answer i will give....you send everything to pharmcas.

Do not try and fool PharmCAS. It is likely possible to do this, but you are asking for trouble later on. Somehow or someway the schools you are applying to will find out and I imagine you will immediately be kicked out, rejected, or put on some type of probation. When submitting PharmCAS, you are obligated to disclose all of your academic history.

What is the hold up in trying to get your transcript from the previous school???

That is academic fraud and there will be serious reprucssions if anyone finds out. I know someone whose admisson was rescinded from a pharmacy school last year because of this. Do not do it - you must report all classes from ALL colleges ever attended.

I can see this turning into some posts in a few years on here saying: "I really messed up a prescription and the patient died because of it. How do I hide the paperwork so I don't get in trouble?"
