Can I get away with this?

I have already submitted my application and paid to apply to 5 schools. I want to add a few more I just did not want to delay my app trying to decide which ones. My question is do you think I can get away with only applying to 6-7 schools? I do not have the extra money to pay for much more than that.

overall GPA: 3.86
science GPA: 3.83

DAT: AA/TS/PAT
20/21/18

My DAT is not spectacular but I hope my GPA more than makes up for that. I have around 100 of both shadowing and volunteer hours. No research. I have a lot of leadership experience and involvement in college. I am resident of Louisiana and these are the schools I paid to apply to so far

Baylor
Tufts
Creighton
Tennessee

I know Baylor is a long shot but it has been my dream school since I decided on dental and I have family in Dallas. So please let me know if you think I would be okay with only these and a few more or if I need to come up with the funds to double the amount of schools. Thank you for your help.

I'd say you have a pretty good shot at LSU.. their AA is 20 according to their website, and I think average GPA is like 3.6 or 3.7 I don't know much about the other schools, except you could be one of those lucky few that gets accepted to a Texas school! You never know 🙂 good luck!

Louisiana isn't too bad to get in. My friend got into Louisiana with similar stats. For Baylor, I would say Texas are not very out of state friendly. They accept 4 people out of the 1000 applicants for each school. I am assuming the 4 people are probably from the ivy schools with high DAT, or something outstanding!
