Can I get in trouble for this by my school?

Sleep on this and reevaluate in the morning. You’re in a hot state and it’ll be difficult for you to make any rational decisions tonight.

Tomorrow when you reevaluate consider talking to your fellow tenants if you really feel you were being disruptive but for now you’ve already had a tough weekend and it might just be best to catch some sleep before med school resumes tomorrow!!

But I do think you’ll be ok. The worst that could have happened imo is already behind you.

Hi guys. I'm kind of worried right now and I don't know if I should be. Last night my girlfriend and I went out and had a fight over something. She stormed out of my friends apartment inebriated and I chased her down and told her I was breaking up with her. She became hysterical and was falling over on her head and running into the street and a lot of people saw. I panick and call my parents and they suggest I go home and that she does too. I order an uber for myself and get in the uber and try to go home and my girlfriend jumps in the uber with me and insists on sleeping on my couch and not leaving me alone tonight in an effort to salvage our relationship. At this point I am very annoyed and when we get to my apartment shes being loud and grabbing me and yelling and telling me to not break up. At this point I'm so fed up with her I shove her away the next time she tries to forcefully hug me. This was witnessed by two other tenants and they call the cops on me thinking I was physically and verbally abusing her. At this point I'm scared ****less and I tell my girlfriend to leave my apartment and just go back to her place so we can settle this in the morning. She refuses and I end up calling her mom to get her to calm her down which doesn't work either. The two tenants are still yelling at me and telling me I'm a piece of **** and I'm literally on the verge of tears myself because I was so fed up with the situation. The cops come and I cooperate and explain them the entire situation and my girIfriend testifies to them that I wasn't harming her in any way. They force her to go back to her place and I go to bed in my own apartment.

Now while I wasn't charged by the police for this and neither was my girlfriend, I'm still scared that the other apartment tenants will report me to my medical school because they know that I'm a medical student, they know my name, and they know where I go to school. I did lose my cool with them because they were interfering without knowing the full story and seemed to be completely biased towards my girlfriend so I repeateadly told them to **** off, so I'm sure they hate me now. The fear of them reporting me has been eating away at me for the past day. Is this something that could get me kicked out? Any input would be appreciated as I've never been in a situation like this before.

tldr; had fight with girlfriend while she was drunk, apartment tenants thought I was being abusive and called the cops, girlfriend testified to cops that I didn't do anything wrong(which I didnt!), no charges but still scared that the tenants might report me out of spite.
If there were no charges, and your presumably ex-girlfriend corroborated this(no physical assault) with the police I don’t see how this would have an impact with your status as a medical student. I don’t think your neighbors would go out of their way to inform the school after the cops came, but your relations with your neighbors may have gone downhill regardless of what the truth is

1. Don’t date heavy drinkers. Nothing to gain and everything to lose.
2. I wouldn’t worry about it at all. People can say any kind of nonsense to your school, Dean, etc. Your school would likely not investigate random complaints like this. They would recommend that they address their concerns to the police.
3. Even if they did, you can simply tell them that your busy body neighbors called the police when your former girlfriend was having a “bad night”, they came, investigated the situation, and left as there was nothing to pursue.
The end.
Your neighbors will probably hate you and think you’re scum, but who cares, they’re nobody. The best revenge is living well.
Be careful playing on the far end of the crazy/hot graph.

If your ex girlfriend is (as you mentioned) willing to testify that you were not intoxicated and were not mistreating her, then I wouldn't worry. I don't see your tenants reporting you, and even if they did, it wouldn't matter since your ex is willing to explain what happened.
