I'm in desperate need of some advice!! Thanks to everyone in advance!
I'm currently a junior undergraduate (NY resident). I have a cGPA of 3.72 and a sGPA around 3.60. I took the MCAT in Jan. 2019, however, I only received a 501 on it (127,124,124,126).
ECs:
75 hours shadowing 3 doctors (2 MDs and a DO)
35 hours volunteering at a free clinic
250 hours volunteering at an urgent care office
160 hours research
1100 hours working (not medically related)
I have letters from an MD, DO, 2 PhDs (science profs), MD/PhD, and a graduate student (who taught a language class).
I'm definitely looking at DO schools and possibly offshore (depending if I can get into DO). I'm just wondering if my stats are good enough where they'll consider me.
