Medical Can I get into med school?

Hello. I am concerned about applying to medical school.
I currently have a 3.2 GPA with a projected 3.3 GPA next semester and my BCPM GPA will be a 3.2. My school requires a 3.2 GPA to even apply and the average GPA for accepted applicants is 3.6. My MCAT score is 523... which is in the 98th percentile. I am taking a gap year due to covid and will be spending that year as a full-time medical scribe. Because of my low GPA, but high MCAT, do I still have a chance of getting into medical school?

For MD you will most likely need a year of post bac classes

You have a chance, but slim. You will need to improve your GPA either by way of post-bacc or SMP.

Getting IIs is determined by your app.

Hence, the need to do the SMP or post-bac to prove the you of now is not the you of then.
