I thought maybe some people have some information about that....

are OK to keep handpiece and typodont in the carry on case when planning to take the airplane?

thank you so much

I was coming back from a dental mission and I accidentally packed finishing burs in my carry-on. I got stopped and frisked because of it, but they let me through afterwards (with burs still in my carry-on). I think I got frisked de facto of the metal detector going off. Not saying it will happen to you, but it is easy for our instruments to get confused with weapons. I would call the airline to ask to be sure.
