Im answer the manual dexterity part on the application where they ask "Describe any activities requiring manual dexterity.." Is it allowed to include a link to a video where I blow them away with how dexterous I am? lol

You know how in scary movies, it's scarier to imply the presence of the monster, as opposed to showing it?

I think this is the same principle-leave a little to the imagination. What if they're not impressed?

You have a valid point sir... Would writing this section in paragraph form be sufficient? I am not writing about this like I wrote my PS am I?

Bring the stuff to the interview and show them. I saw people bringing sketch books when I was on the interview trail years ago.

Think that's better than posting any links.

Nice analogy 😛

I wouldn't. It may come off as over-confident, even cocky. If they ask you to demonstrate, you can show them. My school requires chalk carving at the interview. I think other schools should too, but who am I to decide?

What if I show that I can transplant a monkey's head to a dog's body in under 3 minutes?

I primarily replied to this thread because I thought I could make a witty comment connecting OP's username and the topic of this thread. I cannot. Instead, I'll ask if it would be appropriate to bring a iPhone with a video of me playing an instrument/demonstrating a handskill. Thoughts?

I would imagine it would be useful to have it available if they asked about it

Honestly I don't think your interview will veer into the direction of "show me your hand skills." They are really just checking to make sure you are relatively functional, can speak and interact in an acceptable manner, and you are truly interested in attending their school and becoming a dentist. I don't think I would bring any props with me to prove my skills. If they ask about your piano playing just describe them. The schools plan on teaching you the skills you need to be a dentist, it's just easier if you have a basic understanding of how your hands work.

I think this would be more effective if I hummed a melody to accompany my air piano solo
