Can I include my published paper in the award/scholarship section of the application?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.

Not unless you won an award or scholarship for it. Just put it in the more obvious research experience section.

Seriously, are you an idiot?

I don't think there's anything wrong with including published research articles in the award/honors section. Being published seems to me to be an honor.

beign published is being published, winning an award with your publication is being awarded. That having said, it doesn't really matter where you put it, because you can bring it up at your interviews.

True, but you've got to be a total ***** if you don't realize that publications should go in the section marked "Research Experience".

Check out this idiot's other posts and you'll see what I mean.

From looking at your posts ,shiftyeyes, I see an excellent psychiatric case with excessive obsessive-compulsive behavior expressed in the form of anger and vanity.

Get a life or at least get laid once in a life time you ***** and free this forum up from your useless comments.

Shiftyeyes... You are killing this website. Who cares if people ask similar questions to ones asked in the past. That is the point. If we never asked a question twice then we would run out of questions. Each year new pre-dental students wonder the same things. They dont know about this sight and the search button. I sure hope I dont go to the same school as you "****foreyes". You are the worst thing that could happen to a sight like this.

To the OP... publications are an award or honor. I didnt find a good way to place them in the research area so I place mine in the awards and honors as well. I really dont think it matters. You can just talk about them in the interview.

Thanks man, you've really put me in my place. For a while there, I was really going crazy.

BTW, my name is Peter, and I go to HSDM (Class of 2008).

Sure... it's not a lie if you believe it is true.

why does this site ban all the people who knows what they're talking about?

you mods need to get a life, you're starting to treat the position like it's some all-important bulwark against collapse of civilization.

it's very frustrating for those of us who have gone through the applications process already to see ******ed, stupid questions being asked over and over and over, esp. if the answers can be found easily from just reading the applications' directions and using a bit of common sense.

go ahead, ban my account, doesn't change the fact that this site seems to be getting collectively stupider and stupider.

I hate whiners and trolls 😴

You can put it anywhere on the adsas application. You can put it 3 times in 3 different locations just so they don't over look it. They are looking at the info you provide not the skill at which you fill out an electroic form.

You also don't need to be overly conerned with organization of you experiences if it is taking up too much space.
