Can I just visit D schools without invitation?

Will go to KS for a week and it is only 3 hours driving to Creighton Univ.
Could I call them and ask for a tour to the school?
Anybody did that before?

I've never done it at Creighton, but I did it at UOP, UCSF, UW and OHSU. If you are considering attending Creighton, you definitely should try because I don't think they even interview candidates. The people I've talked to either love or hate Creighton, so check it out for yourself and talk to as many students as possible there. Deans and reps that come to your school always paint a beautiful picture of their school, but the students will almost always give you the real deal. Best of luck.

I've heard Creighton doesn't even give interviews. At least that's what they said when I called a few weeks ago.

They did say you could schedule a tour and what I got from it is, it makes a very good impression on them.

But that's just what I've been told. There are 2 people on the forums that say they have been granted interviews. You may want to PM them and see what's up.

In the interview feedback, I did see people have interviews in Creighton Univ.
Definitly, I do not want to be the only student who take the tour or interview that day.

Actually Creighton does give out a few interviews! I got a call tonight from Dr. Powell from the UofU in Salt Lake City Utah (Utah has a deal with Creighton that the first year of dental school is at UofU) who asked me to attend an interview with the Dean of Creighton's dental school at the end of this month. The interview will take place on the UofU campus! Any interested dental applicants can however set up an interview at Creighton University and it is a great way to boost your chances.

I stand corrected. I should have said that interviews are not a normal part of their application process and one is not needed for admissions. Idaho has a similar agreement with Creighton (IDEP) and the applicants are interviewed in Pocatello, but these are special arrangements between the sponsoring state and Creighton.
