I have a mix of pass/high pass/honors for clinical grades so far. Also no research. Should I even bother applying to radiology if I don't want to go community program?

Yeah. It's 2017, not 1997. Look at the NRMP numbers for US grads.

You might match lower tower academic, but if you apply broadly enough, you'll probably get in somewhere.

you'd rather not go into radiology than go to a community program? There are some pretty good community programs out there

Yeah I would sure as **** go to a community program. It means I get to be a Radiologist.

I think you're in good shape. You could definitely bring your Step 2 score up by 30 points. People do it all the time.

It's 2017, not *2007*.

1997 was not the best time for rads.

Yup, I'm rotating at a Rad group in a highly desirable location. All the young guys went to top med schools and top residency programs. This clearly shows how competitive things were 10 years ago
