This is the same activity as an after school tutoring program for struggling students only without the paperwork on the front end. If it meant something to you, I say keep it.

if it makes you stand out more or helps you further elaborate your ps, then add it.

but please dont add it as a place filler just because of the lack of activities etc.

Go ahead & list it if is among the top 15 experiences you want the adcom to know about. Tutoring a kid for free is the same whether through an official program or the charitable service provided privately to a family that can't afford to hire a tutor.
