Can I send LORs to AADSAS & to Schools?

I've heard a lot about how AADSAS can loose your stuff. Do you guys think it would be wise to send it to AADSAS and also send it to all the schools you want to apply to as well? My thinking is that it can't hurt. Will it? Would it be a problem if they receive the same letters twice?

no that's not necessary. just send to aadsas and monitor their status through the system. it'll tell you when they were received as well as when they get sent out.

Find out where you are applying, some schools require you to send your LOR's directly to them. I know for a fact UDM and MUSC require this, there has to be some more that do.

Some schools tell you specifically on their websites NOT to send your LOR's both to AADSAS and the school directly, some require it not through AADSAS and some require it only through AADSAS. I would send through AADSAS and follow up with the schools themselves about a week after AADSAS's system says it was mailed out. It is true that some things get lost in the process, but if you check with schools, you can pick up the problem early enough to fix it.
