Can I send my application if I haven't taken the DAT yet?

Hi guys. I was wondering if I could send my application in June or July even if I'm scheduled to take the DAT in August. I don't want to send it in August when I know what I got on the DAT because I'll be applying late. Let me know if you have any information. Thank you!

Yes, if you submit it will be sent out. You can also indicate on the application the date you are taking it.

It will be automatically uploaded and your application will be "mailed" out again. It may be beneficial to fax/send a copy of your unofficial scores so they may attach it to your application ahead of the official scores which will take a couple of weeks.

OK, that's sounds perfect. Thank you. I also have another question. Do you dental schools have a problem with young applicants? I was told by a dentist that they don't like young students.

Every school has some incredibly young people in each entering class, it shouldn't be an issue.

Well, I'm 19 now, & I'll be 20 when I apply, but unfortunately I have a low GPA, 3.21. I'm counting on the DAT to help me look better.

I am on your same boat with my gpa being 3.29 while also counting on my DAT as well as being 19 when I apply and graduating at 20. Any advice would be amazing!!

I am a biology major! I have not finalized my list yet as I am waiting for the ADEA book to come out. I am an Arizona resident at NAU so I would to stay in state but both schools are private.

You probably have more chances of getting in there because you already live in AZ. I wanted to apply to those. Still not sure if I'm going to. I have the 2013 book. Do you want me to send it through email?
