Can I start residency if I'm not certified in BLS/ACLS?

Due to scheduling conflicts with my med school graduation and the date for BLS/ACLS training, I might have to take the training course AFTER my start date.......Is it still possible to start on time and work? Or will I have limitations? Thanks
