Can I still ask my professor for LOR without my pin?

I am getting things ready so I can apply in May for the 2008 cycle. I am from Texas, and the Texas system requires a pin and so I was wondering if anyone from Texas know if I can go ahead and ask for my LOR and then ask my professor to fill in the pin number for me later? The pin is needed on the evaluation form. I hope I am making sense, thanks!
