I am applying to a variety of D.O. programs. I graduated from UC San Diego with a degree in General Biology(3.4 gpa) and just recently completed a Master's in Public Health(3.9 gpa). I am currently studying for my MCAT right now and plan to take it in December. Also, I did attend a medical school in the Caribbean and was dismissed before I did my Master's in Public Health. Would this be a huge factor in my application? Also, I failed out because I couldn't really get the anatomy down. Before I start medical school I do plan on taking anatomy before I go.

1. Your masters will not be much help.
2. Your failure in the Caribbean will be a significant
3. Mastery of human anatomy, gross and microscopic(histo)
is critical to successfully complete medical school and
practice competently.
4. Without an absolutely killer MCAT you will face significant
difficulties.
