Sibling is applying to med school. I applied to med school ~6 years ago and did well enough. My siblings seems to have much higher stats than me but is having trouble with apps so far and I'm not really sure why. Maybe the internet can shed some light / tell me if they should be worried yet.

This seems like a likely problem. Even for high stats applicants, there is no way that there are "lots of places" in the top 50 that make sense for any applicant. Would be helpful to see a school list, but they probably need to have cast a larger net and there also may have been some donations on their list.

Would also be helpful to know when they were complete.

Mission fit? Your sibling should know better how competitive their application is because you got in. We don't have enough info to identify a specific issue. Your sibling may get an II tomorrow or later in February.
