Can I take DAT in May?

Hello,
I scheduled to take the DAt exam in February 2021 but I feel like I am not ready yet and I will be going out of country from March-May. I tried to reschedule the date but I cant seem to find any availability after April. Not sure if the seats are full or they dont offer the exam after April 12, as I checked several test center locations and its showing the last available date as April 12.

The exams are generally offered year round every day that the test centers are open. I think you’re just booking too far in advanced. The ADA recommends booking 60-90 days in advance.

Also to add, you only get a 6-month period in which you have to take the exam, starting the day you received your eligibility number.

I know plenty of people that have taken the exam in May, you might just have to wait a bit as you are trying to book too far in advance. I also think that you should try and move the exam if possible as you should never take the exam underprepared, so if you are in the 6 month period by may make sure you move it.
