Can I use my AMCAS/AACOMAS PS for Post-BaccCAS?

I'm currently waitlisted at a few schools and I have a BCPM GPA on the lower end (3.3), so I am trying to be proactive by applying to a few premed post-bacc programs in case I don’t get in this year. I’m submitting my primaries via PostBaccCAS, and it requires a general personal statement, “Write a brief statement about how your experiences contributed to your decision to pursue a career in healthcare," with the same character limit as the AMCAS/AACOMAS personal statement (5300 characters).”

Since I applied to MD and DO programs this cycle, I would love to use my med school personal statement for my Post-Bacc primaries. Is this allowed? I’m also concerned because a few of the post-bacc programs request that verified AMCAS and AACOMAS applications from those who have applied to med school prior to starting the potential post-bacc, meaning adcoms would see that I used the exact same personal statement for PostBaccCAS that I submitted to AMCAS and AACOMAS.

TLDR: Should I just submit my AMCAS/AACOMAS PS to PostBaccCAS?

Yes. This is not a coincidence.

Most post-bacc programs are administratively run by separate administrators who will not necessarily have seen your medical school application. If they do not require a pre-submitted AMCAS, there are low odds they will make an association. the programs that do require an AMCAS want to know what your previous application looked like as their goal is to admit students who will leverage the post-bacc to ultimately matriculate into medical school. If you are concerned about a simple copy and paste, then write a new essay that describes your application process and why you are interested in pursuing a post bacc program.
