I have a LOR from a PI whom I worked for and took a research seminar class with...so he actually gave me a grade for that class..,would I be able to use that letter for the science professor requirement?

Call the schools you're interested in and ask.

I've heard of people having issues with letters like this at DMU-COM (they're ungodly strict about LOR requirements for some reason), but if anything came up they were usually able to resolve it with a phone call.

Some schools specifically want letters from professors who have taught you in didactic courses, and their definition of didactic course is reallllllllly narrow.

What about a Master's level lab instructor? I'm sure he wrote me a strong letter because of pur great relationship, will that count as a science faculty?
