can LOR be sent from the student?

Maybe a damn question. Can LORs be sent from the student or need to ask the professor to send directly? I want to pick up LORs from the professors and send by myself instead of asking professors to send it. But AADSAS mentioned that LORs must be sent directly from the professor, is that right? Please help..

I would be careful about students handling the LOR. Have the professors send it. If the envelope is sealing and shows no signs of tampering you will probably get away with it but just to be safe have the professors send them. Another idea is to get the secretary of the department of the recommender send it.

Right.

My pre-dental committee absolutely refrain us from even just "touching" the LOR. The professors have to drop them off personally or mail them.
