Can dental schools see what other schools you applied to? i would appreciate it if those who answer are 100% sure of their answer and not just assuming they can. if you give an answer can you please say who you heard this from. Thanks.

why does this matter?

im sure every dental school knows you are applying to more than just 1 school.

They can ask in the interview and they WILL know if you are lying.

I can't tell you 100% for sure, but I'd imagine that they definitely can check through your AADSAS app. Most schools will also ask through their supplemental apps. They also ask on AADSAS if you've ever applied to other professional programs.

Regardless, always tell the truth; if they catch you lying (no matter how "minor" the lie), there's a good chance you'll be kissing a career in dentistry good-bye... forever. I don't doubt that these names go on a blacklist that's shared among all schools.

I'll second what someone else already said - why does it matter?

PSU is that purely your opinion that they can check or is their any factual evidence. for instance did you hear from a friend or from an actual reliable source? When I called some schoosl they said they coudln't tell. that why im asking because i want to know if anyone else heard anything from a reliable source.

Well on AADSAS they do ask which other programs you are applying to or have applied to in the past. And all of my interviews have asked me who I have applied to and what my status was at those other schools. Also remember that should you have multiple acceptances they are released to the schools around May 5th. Since most schools you would be applying to are through AADSAS I would rather be safe than sorry and have the school find out you lied and take their acceptance back.

that doens't make sense, its privacy. how can you be sure they know. and how would they know if i lie. i dont get how they can know which schools i applied to. thats what im saying if you dont know , they dont say anything

Again, I'm curious as to why this matters so much to you?

i applied to 31 schools. enough said. that will look bad and dds4year where does it say that other schools can see this information. i dont knwo what section you talking about. but did you actually here the schools ge ta list of other schools you applied to. where on aadsas does it say where else you applied, its a checklist that you select which schools to apply to. wha tyou talking about?

No, no one knows what schools you applied to. The only time AADSAS says anything to schools is if you have deposits in at more than one school after the AADSAS deadline.

BTW i am 100% sure of my answer.

Some schools will annotate the transcripts to show where and when copies were sent. It would not be a surprise to have the ADA make similar notations when sending out the DAT scores. It would also not be a shock to find out that ds have direct access to the database of those who took the DAT. It sounds like you are doing your best to sabotage whatever chances of admission you may have.
