All hail WebDawg

I posted the link to the wedgedog post in your other post. But because I'm bored I did it anyway:

There were some I couldn't get a clear answer for you. For now, the minimum score is 65 (D level).

Some questions that would change things

1) How long did your research internship last for? A few months? Any publications or abstracts or posters?

2) Any leadership/teaching experiences?

3) Do you have an upward gpa trend?

If you could answer those 3 questions, (and given some of those answers work in your favor) you're looking at anywhere from 70 (C level) to 76 (B level).

Well,
1) No it was just a year internship, I am considering taking a gap to add more research? Idk how much that could help tbh

2) I was on the Board for my local Public Library where we organized events within the Library and helped manage the groups etc? Idk if that is the kind you were looking for

3) I was consistently above 3.8

New score:
70 (C level).

4) How much clinical volunteering do you have? Like how many hours separate from shadowing.

Gap could help but not necessary tbh. You have some research experience and some volunteering.

Also, way too much shadowing. 50 hours is enough.

So even If i had 50-75 hours shadowing, i would still be a C or what?
So based on this C level: I plan on applying to 30 schools, what would be a good list?

Dartmouth
Miami
St. Louis
Albany
Rochester
Rush
Rosy Franklin
BU
MCW
Hofstra
NYMC
VCU
EVMS
Wake Forest
Jefferson
Temple
Drexel
Creighton
George Washington
Georgetown
Tulane
Loyola
Netter
Oakland-B
UCI
UCD
Cornell
USC

Drop Cornell.
Drop Dartmouth
Add Mayo-Arizona instead.
Add UC-R.
Add NSU (MD program)
Add Loma Linda if you need to stay in cali

If you are thinking about DO schools:

AZCOM for sure
Touro-CA
BCOM
PCOM
NYCOM

Your choice:
I would drop Temple
Add SUNY-Upstate if you love NY (they love California residents)

I was informed UCR was heavy leaning on undergrad students and regional students? I was thinking that I should add Brown? and take out Dart, Cornell. So I add Touro-Middleton and Brown for Dartmouth and Cornell.

Sorry I made some corrections. I wouldn't add Touro-Middletown.
Definitely add Mayo-Arizona.
Brown is notorious for taking their undergraduate students and take very little outsiders.

If what you heard about UCR is true then yeah no need to apply.

Okay, Thank you so much! I just thought Brown because it was listed in Cat 3, aha I am just grateful to be able to go to Med School, I would prefer UCs and Schools in NY tbf, But I will apply accordingly

Save your money and cut Rush. They have a huge service requirement for their applicants/interviewees/matriculants which you don’t see to have.
