Okay so I am very confused about the AMCAS computerized letter service. So I printed off the letter request forms for my writers with my AMCAS ID info and the bar code. So then i give them that cover sheet, and they print out a letter for me on letterhead stationary. Now this is what i dont get....how do they put it into the system to send through the computer from their stationary? Do they have to have a scanner to do that? Or is this done in some other way? I am just not sure how it goes from being printed out on stationary plus cover letter to being put into the computer.

Most teachers have a copy of their letterhead and signature in an electronic form, so they'll never have to print it. Then I'm pretty sure they just have to save it as a pdf and upload from the computer.
