Hello all... This is my first time posting after hearing a friend swear by this website... looking at some of the threads, it really does look great.

I just took my DAT and Im not sure where I stand and how competitive I am right now... if someone can help me out... I would really appreciate it.

My scores break down as follows:

AA 20
PA 16
RC 24
QR 20
B 18
GC 19
OC 19
TS 19

As you can see my Perceptual Ability may be a problem... I have never done so poorly on any practice PA exam. I usually got around 19-20 actually. OH well.

I have a 3.36 overall GPA and a 2.9 in science. Mostly because of math. Included in that science GPA is about 14 credits of 2.5 GPA Math.

Its already the 15th of October and my aplications wont be complete until about Nov 1st.

Does anyone really know how much emphasis is placed on the PA and what schools on the East Coast I can look at.

Any and all help would be really appreciated. Thanks all

just do a check on the schools you want to apply to. See which ones really emphasize the AA over the PAT. My guess is, you are in pretty good shape, especially with a 20 AA. That will get some ADCOMS interested in you and they will most likely be able to overlook the PAT score. Good Luck!

PAT is NOT a problem. mine is also a 16.

I think you are in good shape. I also have a 16 PAT and a strong AA.

Already have 6/10 interviews and not one of them (the ones I have been on) have mentioned my PAT score.

I had a 17PAT and it was never brought up in any of my interviews.

Now I know the AA average is pretty good and i know the pat sucks but some schools look past that but my gpa isnt all that great...around 2.9 science and 3.35 overall.... does anyone know of any schools that will emphaize a strong AA avf on the DAT over the pat and my not weigh my gpas too heavily. Thanks
