Hey Guys
I am one of those silent lurkers of SDN.😉. I have a question for all of u. i hope u can guide me and help me out in taking the right decision. i got accepted into both UOP and USC. and i now i am confused. i don't know which one to choose. i love San Francisco but UOP seems really expensive. i am not sure if they are clear on what their tuition is because the numbers in their pamphlet and brochure are contradictory. :wow:
so could anyone tell me which school is better and why? and also what's the difference in tuition is? i would really appreciate any help offered.🙂
Thanks a lot
Have a great day

UOP tuition for the entering class of July 2004 hasn't been set yet. Still their tuition is higher than UCSF.

hi,
i havent applied to UOP thinking that it is the expensive school in USA for a 2 year prograM . But with my knowledge i can say that, UOP is better than USC if u dont mind spending some more money. And one more thing is that i heard there is a problem with the Problem based learning. :wow: So think about it. It all depends on what is ur motto and goal in life. Think from the specialty point of you if u r interested.

All the best

Thanks meggs and krishhh for the info. i guess that's my worry too. i don't want to spend so much money.
krishh could you elaborate a little bit abt specialty ( which school is better?)
thanks for the help
have a great day

hi,
As i told you before i dont know muchabout the UOP as i havent applied there. But as far as i heard from the poepl, they say that UOP is very good for the genral dentistry, but the USC is also same as UOP I think. I think UOP is better than USC if u dont mind spending some more bucks. I havent been to USC either. As i havent gone to both of the schools, i really cant guide u in this. As per the specialty i mean if u would like to do masters after DDS, then you should consider about that. If there is a clash between some other schools i would have helped you.
I am sorry for this

All the best
