Can we add a LIKE button

Just some food for thought, but can the SDN forums add a LIKE button that way it may be a good way to rate feedback or not...its facebookish but im sure its pretty sweet

So we actually had this capability to "like" a thread or post via Facebook. However, once people noticed that this was then being posted to their FB wall (possibly compromising their anonymity on the forums), people wanted it removed. So we did.

I don't think we were able to find a "like" feature independent of FB. You are welcome to rate threads, though--not exactly the same, but maybe better than nothing 🙂

Slickdeals also has a good system ranking the value of threads. Obviously the purpose of the site is very different (in that it finds the best deals), but something to consider...

Ya it wouldn't take more than a few hours to code. But it is definitely a custom project unless vbulletin has a plugin.

I don't know what sort of resources SDN has to hire some to create that though.
