Title says it all. I want to bring maybe a book to read and possibly some food. The answer, I'm sure, is probably super obvious but I just want to make sure lest I get kicked out of the test center for bringing one.

When I took it the first time - 04/04 - my test center allowed bags, snacks, drinks. I have friends who have taken it elsewhere and were not permitted to have anything at their seat except writing utensils. so.....who knows?

In April, we were allowed to have them, but in the front of the room. Our proctor was pretty cool though and let us have water bottles on the floor next to us. She also let me eat my raisins during the exam since they didn't make any noise. Someone had a power bar they were eating during verbal. Crinckle, crinkle. I was going crazy. Fortunatly, the proctor made her stop eating it.

we were allowed to have our bags next to us under our tables at the test center in april, but we had to shut our cell phones off and put them in a box in front of the room.

Get ready to see people decked out like they're getting ready to trek through the wilderness for weeks in the sierra nevada...

granola bars, nalgene water bottles, power bars, bananas, jerkey

At the test center in Jackson, MS, you were not allowed to bring anything into the room except pens and pencils. Everything had to be kept outside of the room or in your vehicle. They even made people empty their pockets.
