Can we get an official thread going in regards to schools that have sent interview invites and rejections?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.

Why? People are presumably following the individual school threads for all of their schools, which is the source for this data. (I don't find reddit to be particularly reliable, and am pretty sure that most of their accurate data actually comes from SDN.)

What's the value of having a mega thread where all of the information is consolidated, when many of us will not care about many of the schools, and when we are all following the schools we care about anyway?

You could always just use the school specific threads like everyone else.

This thread makes a lot of sense but is also the reason the interview invite tracking google sheet exists. I think @TheDataKing is the one who organizes that and it's also linked in the applicant sticky for this cycle

It could help future applicants on deciding on which secondary applications to prioritize. For example if some schools send earlier, then they might do those schools before others.

Feel free to check out my II spreadsheets from the past two years along with the one made for y’all’s year. I found that helped my neuroticism

My apologies since I'm sure you've said this, but where can I find the II spreadsheet for the current year?

When should we start to get worried about no IIs, if complete early July?

Definitely not mid-July!!!

Come back around Thanksgiving. Honestly. One of the biggest SDN myths concerns complete date and stats. People just can't control themselves, even though adcoms repeatedly tell us that applications are stratified when they come in, and that the review can take MANY months, depending on what pile you end up in, what the school is prioritizing, and how quickly whatever reviewer you end up with works through their pile.

It seems kind of clear, based on common sense, what we know about what adcoms value, plus the few data points we have so far, that applicants with high stats, low SES, and URMs seem to end up on the top of many review piles. Beyond that, who knows? People report success throughout the cycle, and many schools are notorious for lacking transparency and being very uncommunicative.

Buckle up. It's going to be a VERY long year if you are asking this a mere three weeks since the earliest transmission to schools, after a whopping 6 schools out of 150+ are reported to have begun issuing IIs.
