I applied to a few schools very late last year and didn't receive an offer. I did speak with an ADCOM chair in April and she said one area I could improve would be some more recent volunteer experience. No problem, I signed up for some charitable dental clinic time figuring I'd enjoy it anyway...
Problem is, these clinics both take forever to background check/do orientation/etc and I won't really get any good hours in for a few more weeks. Of course I'd like to have that time on my application, but wasn't sure if there was an option to update as I put time in? I considered estimating my time ahead, but of course I wouldn't want to be unethical.
