Can you become an anesthesiologist assistant with a BSN?

Title pretty much explains it all. Also, I would love to know if this is true or what I should do if I have a BSN and want to be an AA. Thanks!

Yes but you are probably going to need more course work. At a guess probably ochem, biochem, 2 semesters of physics and calculus. Emory had two RNs in their program in the last five years so it can be done.

Definitely do-able. Quite a few RN's have gone through the various AA programs. Check with each program for their prerequisites - they vary a little from program to program, and most BSN programs do not require these heavier sciences.

I am sure that you could go the AA route but why are you not interested in a CRNA degree?
