can you check if your school got your FAFSA?

Is there a way to check if FAFSA has been received by your Dschool? I got an email confirmation from FAFSA and the SAR, so it seems ok. I have 2 questions.

1) I got another email to "remind you that you have started and saved a 2011-2012 Free Application for Federal Student Aid"....I guess I accidentally started separate FAFSA applications twice. But since FAFSA already confirmed they received my app, I should be ok right?

2) my school says there is no way to check if they have received FAFSA... so im confused..is there a way?

I just called up my school a few weeks ago and asked the financial department if they received my fafsa yet....

and they told you, they received it? I called before too, and the financial person said there isnt a way to tell. I thought that was a weird response..

Yes... she asked me for my SSN, then she was able to look up my info.

They told you there isn't a way to tell? thats a B.S response 🙄

Hey guys. So, I submitted my FAFSA in Jan 2011. Then, I had to make corrections and resubmitted again in April 2011. Does this mean I may not receive financial aid by the time school starts, or does the school go by the Jan 2011 date (my first submission)?
