Okay, this was from CDP and is it possible to ask a question like this??

I got

0 - 0
1 - 2
2 - 7
3 - 9
4 - 4
5 - 1

But it was wrong becuase there supposed to be two blocks behind the
second left blocks with I attached with 2.jpg.

Obivously there is no way that you can tell there are blocks behind the
stack because there is no way to see them.

Is it a fair question for real DAT?

So the entire cluster of cubes has to be connected somehow. I agree that you couldn't assume there are two cubes hidden behind, but I think it's safe to assume there is one there for connectivity.

I didn't have anything that confounding on the actual DAT!

No you will not get this on the DAT. this is from the extra practice questions. there are others that are outright BS. The ones on the actual test are straight forward. If its missing you will see it. Oh and most are less than 20 cubes. I never saw anything that's like 25 or 30.

CDP has other bs ones too. I remember coming across one where behind front 3x3 wall there happens to be missing cube at the bottom. i"m like no. I can reasonable say its missing the 2nd level cube but no way to tell its missing the one @ the very bottom.

during one of the tests for which number they have another one that is BS 3X3 base, with missing center, except they have 1 cube each at the 4 corners. Its fairly easy if it was rotated say 5 degrees to the left or right. Except they have it situated at an angle in which you can reasonably infer that center cube isn't missing.

If you can do the cubes on the regular cdp tests you'll be fine.

Thank you
