Has anyone been able to use the 10 key function (or even the numbers along the top of the keyboard) when using the calculator on the QR? I've heard a few people mention they had to use the mouse to point and click.

**Edited to add, I just called ADA and spoke with the DAT coordinator, who told me the calculator on the DAT is the same as the one that Windows uses, so it has all the same functions and operates the exact same way. I told her that the 10 key works on the Windows calculator and asked if it works on the DAT and she said yes. Can anyone confirm this? Obviously you need to have the number lock on for the numbers to work.

I am not sure that i had the number lock or not but i did try it durning the test and it did not work. Also ten key is normaly used to increase speed. Let me tell you it wont be your ability to click fast enough that will limit you. There is lag on the calculator side, so you will be able to imput numbers just as fast by clicking. Even with all this being said. Dont really count on the calculator in most cases it just slows you down.

Yep, I used it maybe twice...it was faster just doing mental math.

There's serious lag on that calculator and no you can't use the num pad...the num lck was on but the keys still didn't work.

Here's an idea for Prometric/ADEA...why not just give the test taker a basic calculator @ the 15 minute break?

I'm guessing because they still want you to do mental math 😕
the calculator is just a safety net
