to piggy back onto your topic:

does anyone know if you can ctrl+f on the real deal? or maybe not that same exact button combination, but is there at least a search function?

To the OP

At my testing center, the scroll + cntrl didn't work. At home I have a 22" flat screen monitor with a high resolution, so when I took the actual mcat, it was quite the shock factor. My testing center had what looked to be 15" screens. Because of this, I thought the passages on verbal (and everything else for that matter) were a lot longer than the AAMC FLs. I recommend you to zoom in on your current monitor to reflect what the actual passage will look like on the mcat. Like I said before, I thought the verbal passages were longer on the real thing, that is, until I got back on my computer, opened up a practice test and zoomed in (cntrl + scroll) on the passages and it felt just as long as the actual mcat

AAMC practice tests let you resize the frames for the passages (ie. the width of the two columns)
also when doing practice tests, you can always zoom in/out using your internet browser

No, you cant change the frame size/ cant or zoom in/out. Pretty much the only thing you could do is highlighting and also crossing out multiple choice answers.

too bad no adjustments possible ....they should update that for the verbal section at least
