I am a Canadian who has recently decided to apply to American schools as well. I was hoping someone would know something about which schools accept Canda apllicants and also which schools are worth applying to with a 3.3 GPA (significantly better in last couple of years) and a 35 O on the MCATs. At this point I will pretty much go to where ever will take me.
Thanks

Come on, you don't have to be from Canada to help me out. Someone must know something about international students.
Thanks again,
Bruce

Try the private allopathic schools, such as New York Medical College, Albany Medical College, and Finch to name a few. Michigan State University accepts Canadian students as well. I would look up the admission stats for each school and phone to find out whether they accept Canadian students. I purchased The Princeton Review Complete Book of Medical Schools from Chapters, which helped me figure out which schools were likely to accept me, as I too am Canadian. Osteopathic medical schools are another good option, as many of them accept international students. Hope this helps.
