Hi folks,
Just wanted to see what you (particularly the Canadian ODs) think a fair/average compensation structure is for an associate when it comes to a full scope practice?
In particular, what PERCENTAGE would be fair of gross on all billing fees (government, out of pocket, CL fits, private insurance) generated? 60%? 70%? 80%? There is no compensation on spectacles or physical contact lenses. How much of a difference would you expect for a urban vs rural practice in Alberta?
