Hello,

I am applying to US schools this year but I still have not written my DAT (writing the Canadian DAT). Should I still apply now and then they will recieve my scores later? Is it worth my while? Will schools wait to review my application until they have my scores? Has anyone ever gotten into school that was in my situation? Any help would be great

Thanks

also, i am returning for a fifth year so should i send in my current transcript or wait until at least my fall 2008 grades?

Dude, you are in a bad situation for American schools. I'm assuming you're taking the Nov DAT right? That thing doesn't get marked/sent out until mid December. It happened to me last year (2008 cycle, got waitlisted at NYU in April). It sucks unless you have all 23s and a high GPA.

If I were you, I would apply anyway its worth the chance right?

Hi, I was in your situation last year. Your application won't be reviewed until they have received your DAT, which won't be sent out until late December if you are writing the Nov DAT. You would probably need a higher DAT score than your fellow applicants since most school start sending out interview invitation early December. However, I will managed to get a few interviews...

it's definitely not too late if your DAT and GPA is competitive...

good luck!
