Hello everyone

I found a few topics dealing with the issue of financing medical school eduction for Canadians in the US, but they were all talking about getting loans or LOCs from Canada. My situation is that I don't have any co-singer in Canada, and probably right now RBC is going to require one. But I have two uncles in the US who are citizens and practicing physicians with probably good credit and all that... so what are my options if I get accepted at an expensive American school? say Wayne for example.

I'm willing to sell my self into slavery if it's required. perhaps sign some contracts with hospitals.. i dont know.. i'm just starting to investigate this whole financing issue and it's scaring me very much. I have put a lot of effort so far learning about US schools, preparing for the coming application (going got september 2010), retaking the MCAT.. but hadn't thought too much about how to really pay for it.

so anybody out there has done it using only American sources of money?? and how feasible is it?


i'm a M.Sc. student with 33Q and ~3.5-3.6 GPA

I have been approaching US banks to get money to study in Australia but this is futile. I haven't really contacted for studying in the US yet.

regarding signing contracts with hospitals or rural coomunities.. anybody has done something similar? whether in the US or Canada.. this might be a good option.
