PA is very new to Canada. Within the last 3-4 years however, two medical schools are running the program. (three in total now) Each of them have different rules but generally what I've noticed (comparing them to some USA schools) is prereq's are very few compared to American programs and not a lot of them ask for clinical experience. So far, it seems we are allow to study in America and then to practice here we would have to pass the exam.
Since I am a third year Polisci student, I haven't taken many science courses but obviously I do want to. I just would prefer I didn't have to take 6 or more courses. For example, for one Canadian school it was only biochemistry, human anatomy and physiology. Second, are there some that don't ask for clinical experience?
Thanks for any help guys.
