canadian internship and registration and permanent residence

Hi there,

I am studying medicine in Australia and would like to have my internship year and would like to register in Canada as a medical doctor.
My university is listed on the FAIMER International Medical Education Directory.
I am particularly interested in working in Vancouver or Toronto, so would somebody tell me how I should find an internship and briefly explain how I can register as a medical doctor.

What will be the chance of gaining an internship place in these two cities as an international graduate? as I heard there are a lot of graduates applying for internships.

And in what conditions and how (on completion of internship and license exams) will I be able to obtain a permanent residency in either cities?
